I have been lucky enough to travel to many places over the years, but never have my photos racked up as many likes, shares and comments as they did from this trip. It is a region of sheer cliffs enveloping dazzling bright blue fjords, snow-capped mountains peeking above clouds and white coral beaches carpeting island shores. At this time of year (I travelled in early June) the trees are budding green and the sun sits high in the sky, never setting, bathing the idyllic scenery below in a golden and continuous glow. Wooden-clad and pastel painted; the region is dotted with tiny houses and old fisherman’s dwellings with boats of all sizes and ages lining the harbours. I was lucky enough to capture this stunning image above whilst en route from the ferry port at Senja.
