Growing up in Kent and being able to look out across the English Channel every day, Allan developed a passion for travel from an early age. Ever since experiencing the wonders and delights of Indonesia on his gap year, Allan has never stopped wanting to explore all that the world has to offer, ticking as many bucket list items off his list as he can in the process.
Allan’s adventures have taken him across the globe and he has been lucky enough to experience the likes of Finland, Antigua, Gozo, Egypt, Canada, Spain, Australia, and so many more! It is fair to say that Allan is one very well-travelled chap and as part of the sales team here at Artisan Travel, Allan is hoping to add many more destinations to this list!
As he has been lucky to travel extensively Allan has many highlights from his travels. However, the beautiful islands of the Greek Cyclades, including the gravity-defying cliff-side villages of Santorini and the famous windmills of Mykonos rate highly on his list for their white-washed simplicity and their fascinating history.
Since joining the Artisan Travel team, Allan has also been fortunate enough to explore an otherwise unknown type of travel too; the Arctic. He was fortunate enough to join fellow travel expert Jono on a journey across Northern Finland and managed to tick off some serious bucket list experiences whilst he was there. From husky sledding and snowmobiling to seeing the Northern Lights in person, Allan is very pleased to have managed to have ticked so many great experiences off his bucket list and he cannot wait to add many more!
