A full on experience that we will never forget!
A review of Harriniva - Five-Day Husky Safari by Lucina Hackman and Grant ThomsonWe went to go husky sledding and got a full on experience that we will never forget. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time with the dogs. We also got to see the Northern lights night after night which was a real bonus. We can't praise our guide enough either, Hanski was knowledgeable and ensured our holiday was one we will remember for all the right reasons.

If someone had told me before our holiday that I would be capable of managing my own team of huskies and spending 2 days travelling over frozen lakes in the Arctic with them, I would have called them bonkers! It was TOTALLY AMAZING! The dogs were so friendly and so happy and you could tell they just loved running together pulling the sledge. We had magnificent weather too, loads and loads and…
Read more loads of snow and blue-sky days, so the views across the lakes and forest runs were outstanding.

Loved the variety of different things we did
A review of A Volcanic Wonderland by The Roberts FamilySwimming with dolphins was just incredible. We were very lucky and swam with dolphins on three occasions in the two hours we were out. On one occasion, we were swimming with hundreds of dolphins; it was just incredible.

The Kuhmo area and the people are amazing

Read more truly wonderful. It is an amazing area. I also enjoyed borrowing Nordic walking sticks and walking a few miles to explore the village of Kuhmo and its surroundings. You could enjoy the scenery of the lakes, flowers and small wild animals easily. It did rain but still amazing. The village had a lovely cafe/bakery and a cultural centre (Juminkeko) that turned out to be much better than I had expected. The curator gave me a personal tour and explained so much about the Karelian culture.
